Upon arrival the whole cottage was immaculate and smelt fresh - so clean and everything as expected. Our dog Pippa immediately was at ease which we were very pleased about. Being detached it was quiet and peaceful and we spent all our time in the lovely conservatory - having had the benefit of a solid roof added it was also really cool even on hot sunny days which we had a lot of - very lucky with the early Spring weather. The beds were memory foam and sooo comfortable we had great nights sleep throughout the 2 week holiday! The village itself is so friendly and having the Norham Castle on our doorstep was an added bonus. Berwick-upon-Tweed is so easily accessed from Norham only 8 miles away for all the main shopping you could need with 3 superstores. Also dog friendly beaches only 10 miles away with Cocklawburn Beach and Cheshire Sands so clean and empty - Pippa had a whale of a time. All in all BRILLIANT is the only word and we are booking again for 2022!!
