The Historic Town of Wadebridge is on the doorstep where there are excellent restaurants, pubs, shops, galleries, cinema, sports centre and a park with tennis courts gives all year round appeal. Walks or cycle rides can be ventured along the scenic Camel Trail to Padstow. Padstow has much to tempt and is within a 20 minute drive. A reputation for being one of the UK's top foodie destinations, including the famous restaurants of celebrity chefs, Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth, plus an array of arty shops, trendy boutiques and old pubs/inns. The Black Tor ferry runs from Padstow to Rock, with its golden sands and haven for water-sports enthusiasts - ideal for sailing, windsurfing and canoeing, or tee-off at the challenging St Enodoc Golf Club.
