Little Tregarrick is spacious and comfortable for two, tucked away at the end of a private lane just outside the ancient market town of Helston. This lovely barn conversion is set over one floor and provides roomy accommodation for couples who wish to be in the countryside but not too far from a town with lots of amenities. The interior is well thought out and space isn't an issue, there is a lovely large central kitchen dining area which is flanked by the sitting room on one side and the bedroom on the other. A spacious shower room completes the accommodation. Outside is a private garden area mostly laid to lawn, a barbecue is also available. The barn is attached to the owners farmhouse and so guests also have access to the owners gardens which surround the grounds. The immediate surroundings are rural and green and yet the there is a pub/restaurant less than a mile away that can be reached by footpath across the fields on a summers evening. The wide sandy beach at Loe Bar, just over two miles away can also be reached by foot through the beautiful National Trust land of the Penrose Estate. Helston is great for morning coffee and has a few pubs and shops but for waterside eateries we suggest that you head to nearby Porthleven, a pretty fishing port on the south coast. There are several good options here including the superb fusion restaurant Kota. Porthleven is also home to several galleries and a weekly harbour market. Why not take a fishing trip from Porthleven and keep the fish you catch for an evening barbecue. The property sits at the gateway to the Lizard Peninsula; a beautiful and unspoilt area of Cornwall that escapes the crowds.
Helston lies at the western gateway to the Lizard Peninsula, where there is lots to explore, from quaint traditional fishing villages to a spectacular coastline and some forgotten coves and beaches. Helston is a pleasant busy market town famous for its Flora Day Festival and Furry Dance which happens in May.

Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.
The owners of this cottage are lovely, so welcoming and friendly. Little Tregarrick is very comfortable and well equipped everything you need is there. The location is so relaxing, peaceful and quiet. There is a Sainsbury's Supermarket close by. We had a wonderful time here. Would definitely recommend if you like peace and quiet. There are lots of place close by to visit, Lizard Point, St Ives, St Michaels Mount and more all without travelling too far. We love wildlife, nature and birdwatching so for us it was perfect. Big thanks to Margaret and Chris for helping to make our holiday great.
