This outstanding renovated annex is located just outside the little village of Umberleigh. Set on one level this modern property provides high quality and romantic accommodation for two in Devon. Entering through the patio doors into the atrium, where a complimentary welcome hamper awaits you, into a wonderful spacious interior, decorated in creamy hues with elegant furnishings and wood flooring to create a calming and tranquil abode that you will be reluctant to leave. There is a telescope to be found in the atrium with a door leading to a cloakroom. Two steps down to the open plan living room, with 32" TV, and dining room which has enough space to entertain six if required. The kitchen / breakfast room is well equipped with electric range cooker on which to cook tasty meals and one step down takes you into the utility room. The bedroom contains a king-size pocket sprung bed, dressed in the finest Egyptian cotton linens and leads into the en-suite shower room with walk in shower, basin, WC and tiled flooring. Outside the views are amazing and you can enjoy a glass of wine on the patio and let your stresses melt away in the summer sunshine or take a walk down through your private wood, and lay back and enjoy the stars in your very own woodland hot tub. Set in a beautiful valley with a variety of country pubs close by, this area is great walking country with the two National Parks, Exmoor and Dartmoor, close by and still within striking distance of the coast. Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
We spent a week at Little Silver Nugget and it exceeded our expectations. The views are mesmerising, the attention to detail was impressive too. They even sent us a link to their very own digital guide book full of useful information, the welcome basket had lots of treats including fresh home made bread and apple juice from their orchard! The place is huge and very well equipped, the king sized bed has a quality sprung mattress and luxury Egyptian Cotton bedding ensuring a wonderful nights sleep. It was so quiet and relaxing, it was hard to tear ourselves away. We loved the private hot tub after long walks and the views from the hot tub really are very special, there is a cover over it too which meant we still sat enjoying the tub on a rainy evening. Whilst relaxing outside we saw birds, squires, a busy woodpecker, cows, sheep and lots of deer too. We can't recommend this place highly enough, our week was so relaxing and we will definitely be back. Get booking you won't regret it
