Enjoy a picnic on the private, elevated patio amidst the almost uninterrupted country and ocean vista, with garden table and chairs for dining under the sun or stars. There's outdoor space for surf gear and buckets and spades, or bring cycles to explore this magical most westerly tip of Cornwall. If you opt not to cook, the fish and chip shop and good food inn are all within a few minutes walk, plus a village store for provisions. The Lands End Peninsula boasts dramatic land and seascapes. The coastal path is ideal for discovering the rugged coastline and beautiful coves and beaches. Sennen Cove has a popular one mile stretch of sandy beach and Whitesands Beach is a favourite with the surfers, with terrace restaurant looking out across the Atlantic, a pub for refreshment and a surf shop for the water adventurous. The beach at Porthcurno is very beautiful and the Minack theatre is a striking setting with seats carved from the cliff face against the ever changing backdrop of sea and sky. The small fishing village of Sennen Cove is situated close to Lands End in Cornwall. The village has a lifeboat station, church, a couple of shops, a café plus two popular gastropubs. The town of St Just is the nearest town to Lands End and has several monument and prehistoric antiquities, including a Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. The town also has a town hall, a church, shops and pubs, and Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times. Porthcurno, which has the outdoor Minack Theatre is situated 5 miles away. The village of Mousehole is within a short drive where stargazy pie can be sampled. Also within reach is the town of Penzance, which boasts winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants and a harbour, from where day trips to the Scilly Isles can be enjoyed.
