Oh wow!!! Absolutely stunning home from home with everything you could possibly need. The extra touches were so comforting, after a very long drive in the dark, what more could you possibly want but lovely fresh fruit scones and Prosecco ?? Tea, milk, cream, jam fresh flowers were also waiting for us. The house was cosy and warm with plenty of logs and kindling for the log burner to keep it that way. After very long wet walks we came back to the hot tub to relax , star gaze and listen to the owls. Friendly Alpacas and an inquisitive Hen also provided much entertainment. We had a linen change half way through our two week stay, which I must say was delightful. Fresh bedding towels and dressing gowns . The owner was lovely, he greeted us on the first morning, making sure we had settled and had everything we needed. Even helping us choose some walks. So thank you for a memorable holiday... we shall return, hopefully in the very near future.

Visited for a week during November with friends. Lovely cottage with literally everything you could need (condiments, dishwasher tablets, torches etc). Scones and Prosecco which welcomed us were an added bonus. Experienced a few issues regarding there not being enough towels, boiler making whistling noises, hot tub displaying an error message and the washing machine door breaking with our clothes inside it! We reported each of the issues to the owner (who lives directly in front of the cottage) and all of the issues were resolved extremely quickly. There was an issue with hot water, but we resolved that once we became familiar with the boiler controls. Lovely place; hot tub is great (though a little small - it is a corner tub and therefore fits three adults maximum.) Great for stargazing. Zip bed extremely comfortable with a firm mattress; metal framed bed is a soft mattress. Absolutely lovely cottage; lots to do nearby. Alpacas can be seen from the cottage. Lots of dvds, books and games available. Would recommend staying here.

The coach house is set in an elevated position with views across the valley. It is approached by a fairly long track which was bordered by banks of beautiful primroses when we were there. The setting is rural and quiet, perfect for listening to the birdsong in the day and the owls in the evening ,while sitting on one of the benches or relaxing in the hot tub. The house itself is extremely well kitted-out with a fully equipped kitchen, a large comfy sofa and the beds are some of the best we've slept in! There were plenty of logs for the wood burner together with fresh flowers and a cream tea with fizz on our arrival. The friendly owner also popped round to check that all was ok. There are plenty of books and maps to help you decide where to visit as there are lots of nearby attractions as well as the miles of coastline. This is a comfortable and relaxing property and well recommended for both families and couples.

What a fabulous property. A very lovely welcome pack. We stayed for a week and just can't fault it in anyway. Hot tub beautiful as is the nature. The property was immaculate there really is nothing negative to say. We highly recommend this property. Beds were amazing as were towels and dressing gowns. The attention to detail shines through. Mobile phone signal is poor but there is a landline available. This property is truly 5 star.

Just returned after spending a week over Christmas at this glorious, clean, well equipped cottage, and we didn’t want to come home. The cottage is located in a secluded position, alongside the owners property, at the end of a long bumpy lane( not suitable for low vehicles) but is well worth it, if you don’t mind the muddy car and very slow approach. We immediately felt at home in this beautiful property, very modern and homely, we especially loved the log burner on a rainy winter Christmas night, and there was a large stock of free wood. The hot tub was just big enough for 3 people, but a lovely start to Christmas morning. Bedrooms were beautifully decorated, and my word, what comfortable beds, my daughter has already put an order in for new mattress, duvet and pillows to try and replicate her experience. Being away for Christmas, and eating in for the whole week, and with Christmas baking it was essential to have a well equipped kitchen, and we weren’t disappointed. It was lovely to have every utensil you could think of, rolling pin, ice-cream scoop, pizza cutter... they had it. Even had a tassimo coffee machine which was lovely. Loved the welcome package, sparkling wine, biscuits, tea and some home made mince pies. And we made full use of their selection of board games over the Christmas period, we are actually off to buy our own of one of them today. I loved the book that the owners leave asking for anything that has been broken or isn’t quite working right, and it all looks like it’s kept on top of and repaired ASAP . We have stayed in properties and think this could be better etc...but don’t like to say, we just wouldn’t return, so it’s nice to know your listened to. We will definately be returning to this property, we loved being here for Christmas, but would like to visit in the better weather to explore places of interest and beaches, as the rain stopped us on this visit, we just managed a trip to Plymouth, which is lovely for shopping. Don’t like to share this property but really think it deserves a review 10/10. Thank you for a fabulous enjoyable stay , will be back .
