What an absolutely gorgeous cottage. We loved how bright, airy and cosy it was. Everything you need is there and the owners were just lovely. Welcoming and on hand if you need anything (which we didn’t, they’ve thought of everything) but not overbearing. Lovely little garden with seating to enjoy the peace and tranquility and to watch the abundance of birds who were loving the feeders, and the sheep and ponies in the next field. Loved the location down the private lane, the only traffic was the farmer and the only noise was the occasional cow mooing and the bells from the little nearby church. All the advantages of being rurally remote, but with the beaches and various places to visit just a short drive away. It was an absolutely perfect holiday and I’d recommend the Goslings to anyone! Thank you!!

We have had cottage holidays for over ten years and Goslings is our favourite cottage by far. The location is very quiet with no light pollution and the beds are extremely comfy. I had the best week of sleep I had in years. The cottage was immaculately clean and very well equipped, we had everything we could possibly think of. The owners are lovely and friendly, we enjoyed chatting with them. The garden with bird feeders is a real treat, it was mesmerising to watch the birds from the sofa. We had incredible stay and will definitely come back at some point. Thank you!

This charming cottage is expertly ran by its very lovely hosts Sally and Charlie. We arrived to a wonderful cream tea treat.( lovely jam) thanks Sally. The cottage was comfortable, beds very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, super hot shower and fluffy towels.quaint, cozy yet big enough for 4 adults and two dogs. Great location, great outdoor space and within driving distance of Padstow, Torquay, Port Isaac, Cloverlly, Bude with some amazing cliff top walks.a lovely stay much enjoyed. The one down side was the internet.. very slow to load, however it didn’t spoil our holiday. Thanks again to our smashing hosts. Y

We just had a week in this beautiful cottage. Sally and Charlie are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Delicious cream tea on arrival too! I can't rate this cottage highly enough. It is set down a private lane, so no traffic or light pollution. Just peace and tranquillity. Abundant logs and kindling for the whole week, as well as central heating, so it's a very comfortable place to stay. The beds are really comfy. The lounge has two huge sofas, and the kitchen has everything you need, dishwasher and washing machine/ dryer. It is beautifully decorated throughout, with a power shower and separate bath, with abundant hot water. Loved every minute of our stay, and definitely will be back! Bude is literally ten minutes drive away, with its beautiful beaches, restaurants and canal! Thank you Sally and Charlie! I can't recommend your place highly enough!

What a wonderful holiday cottage. Stayed with my Mother, teenage son and 6 year old niece - the cottage suites everyone. Spacious living room with WiFi that met the needs of 2 tech obsessed children. The kitchen is well stocked with all electrical appliances including washing machine and dishwasher. Bathroom with full sized bath, separate shower cubicle and very good quality towels. Double bedroom is a good size with a plug socket by the mirror (for those women who need a mirror to dry their hair!). Twin room is fine too. Nice enclosed garden with picnic table and views of the owner’s 2 horses and sheep. Cottage is not on a main road so no noise from traffic and safe if little ones escape! Perfect location to tour Devon. Would strongly recommend (neither the 12 week old puppy nor the cream tea on arrival has influenced my review but both were highlights of my stay).

I am not overstating it to say that our stay at Goslings has been perfect. Out of all the places we have stayed in the world I can honestly say that it is joint first (the other is a b&b in Inverness ). The attention to detail, the place itself and both Sally and her hubby make it an utterly wonderful place. Everything you need is right on hand, along with many things I wouldn’t have thought of but were fabulous. Cream tea on arrival, fresh out of the oven, bird feeders for you to watch all the different feathered friends and lovely surrounding walks.

We stayed here last month, and it was perfect. The accommodation was comfortable, charming and fully equipped with every appliance you could need. Sally and Charlie were very welcoming, firstly greeting us with a delicious cream tea and then inviting us onto their beautiful farm to meet their famous gosling as well as their countless other gorgeous animals. The location was perfect! From the cottage we went for a day trip to the sea at Bude and down to Plymouth then we spent another day on a country walk in Oakhampton. The local pub had great food, nice beers and friendly staff. Couldn’t have picked a more perfect place. We live in Australia but would definitely visit Goslings again.

Excellent scones to welcome us and friendly greeting from owners on arrival. Very rural peacefull location, bird feeders filled in garden to catch a good view of a selection of birds. Good attractions from history, animals and water based activities within 3/4 hour in all directions.

The Goslings is well equipped and comfortable. The owners are friendly, helpful and bake great scones! It's about 10 miles ish from Bude which has a lovely dog friendly beach. Lots of great walks there. Lots to do in the area for all the family. We will definitely go back.
