We booked this for the start of my husbands 40th year. We arrived half hour early and having spent 5.hours in the car with two children they were so welcoming. There is a beautiful play area (near the stream so extra eyes on the kids) for them to burn off some energy. Half an hour flew and before we knew it we were heading back to the house. The house is in the middle of the countryside and so quite. The driveway is big and has a lovely walkway to the house. A big glass door to open. We ordered a tesco shop that arrived without trouble this is such a great idea. We were shown around and everything is there The house is massive. The pool is splendid and as the weather wasnt on out side that with the pool table helped the hours disappear. Massive fridge and freezer and morrisons isnt too far away should you need to restock. The downstairs bedroom was ideal for my father in law who cant do stairs very well. With a walk in shower down stairs. Internet is hit and miss and there is no phone signal from the house at all. You will need to walk to the end of the drive way and stand very still. The bedrooms were very spacious with lots of storage. The mattress was it's only let down to be fair. They are a little thin however with a little rearranging it was all good. However its definitely something to think about. The hot water is available all the time. The dryer on the washer dryer was amazing. Slightly damp put on lower heat, very wet put on high heat. We used the bbq on the last night and wow that was brilliant wish the weather had meant we could have used it more. Mr and mrs trump were amazing and so helpful. They were on hand for any questions and nothing was a bother. Yes I would recommend this property without hesitation. Hope to return soon. The lane to the property needs patience but worth its 5 mins of trouble. Places to try... if you have a vlue badge and head into teighmouth make sure you speak to the information centre about where to park and some roads you actually get unlimited parking. Sheldon beach was lovely and a must if you have kids. There is a parking limit of 1 hour no return within 2 hours. However there is a massive carpark at the top. So if you have a few adults, off load and then go park. Make sure you have change. Very expensive place but the beach is lovely. Lots of barrel jellyfish, google assured us they dont sting... make sure you check. We stayed clear to be on the safe side. The sea gets deep fast there so just keep an eye out for kids and no swimmers. We had a lovely fish and chips dinner in torquay not too far away. So much to do and see. The cottage is amazing and so much fun
