Resting on the beautiful River Ant and a short distance away from the market town of Stalham is Wayford. Here, you will find bistro style restaurant / coffee shop, a pub and restaurant, small grocery and newsagent and a petrol station. Attractions here include the boatyards which offers boat hire and canoe hire. From here, you can enjoy Museum of the Broads, the Radar Museum, famous historic houses and beautiful gardens, as well as Dilham Canal which is great for canoeing.

Great location for exploring Norfolk, 20 minutes to some lovely costal areas (sea pailing, horsey) and the same distance to the park and ride for norwich. Thrigby wildlife gardens also well worth a visit. Shared pool and gym area was great, pool nice and warm. Cottage itself was clean and very peaceful. Owners welcoming and also run the adjacent boat yard if you wanted to hire one.
