This ground-floor accommodation rests paces away from the coast and is two miles away from the popular town of Ayr, making a wonderful spot for a family getaway. Be welcomed into brightly-decorated property, offering contemporary features and furnishings to ensure a delightful base to come back to. The designated chef will be delighted with the amply equipped kitchen that awaits them. The kitchen benefits by having the option of a slow cooker, and means your meal should be ready for you when you return home. Enjoy an evening meal before settling down with loved ones around the dining table, if the weather is lovely why not venture out to the garden and sit at the outdoor table and chairs to enjoy some alfresco dining. For a relaxing evening in, sink into the sofas within the elegant sitting room, where you can keep warm in front of the wall-mounted electric fire. Why not make the most of the Sky TV facilities on offer - Choose from Sky Sports, movies or children's channels. After an action-packed day, choose to indulge with a relaxing soak in the Jacuzzi spa bath that awaits you within the stylish family bathroom, simply fill the bath then choose the type of spa you want. These are the comments I wrote when requested by Sykes Cottages to give an input after our stay. Sykes Cottages is the booking agent for the owner. "I'm reluctant to say this but I was so disappointed with the cleanliness of the house. Cobwebs in kitchen, living room, main bedroom & double bedroom. Both toilet vents covered in thick dust. Radiator in ensuite has years of accumulated dust. Placemats and coasters grubby. Both couches are extemely grubby also with accumulated food down the sides and seams. Skirting boards in each room were in need of a good scrub. I have taken photographs just in case my comments are disputed. Given we're living through a pandemic I was astonished. To the positive. Great contained garden for small dog. Very secure and well maintained. Great location and very quiet. Short walk to the lovely beach. Very well equippedd kitchen and plenty of towels and bed linen. The afternoon tea was a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. In summary, we arrived in the evening so I didn't see the true condition of the house until the next day. I was going to call the number left in case of problems, but I couldn't live with having to move back out for the hours it would have taken to bring it up to the necesssary standard. I felt the late check in of 4.00pm and early check out of 10.00am was extreme. All problems are easily dealt with and if the house was given a much needed deep ckean it would be a gem of a place". I was asked to send the photographs bhy Sykes Cottage which I have done. Since then I have been offended, insulted and threatened with legal action!!! I should have called the number left in the property for any problems but as mentioned where were we to go on a wet, cold winter with our dog, gven the Covid restrictions in place? An absolute disgrace. I've been adviced to now make Trading Standards aware.
