We stayed here for xmas and our wedding anniversary. We had a little trouble finding the place as the directions aren't very clear, unless you know the roads. Search google for mid wales views and you will get better directions. Upon arrival we found some little extras which was lovely, some welsh wafers, mince pies, christmas card, and even a real Christmas tree with lights to name just a few. The cabin was warm and very clean, the hot tub was up to temperature and just what was needed after the long drive. Over all we had a lovely stay, other than a few niggles. Positives: The bed was very comfy, the cabin is spacious for its size, well equipped with the basics, kitchen equipment etc. Comfy recliner sofa. The best bit over all was the hot tub, even in the rain. Negatives: We couldn't get on the wifi the entire time we were here, no matter how much we tried. Shower cubicle very small, could have been a little larger. Photos need updating, they do not show the interior or exterior of the cabin and views as it is now. Very misleading. Pictures show a stunning view from the hot tub, when infact there is now a shepherd's hut smack bang in the middle, the whole reason we booked this particular cabin was for the views shown in the pictures. Pictures also show a washing machine ⁷when infact there is a dishwasher, wich is utterly pointless when there isnt enough crockery to utilize it. You have to watch the tv in a sideways position as the sofa is too large to move round to face the tv, would be better as a 2 seater so you can move it to face the tv. The information booklet also needs updating, as the taxi number inside it is knowlonger trading, agan the picture does not show the area as it is now.
Picturesque setting in the welsh hills. Cosy and homely cabin, with a hot tub to die for. Short drive from many lakes and mountain walks, perfect place to clear the head with the fresh air and peace from hustle and bustle. Would definitely return.
We had a lovely stay and took our 2 dogs that were able to be run around the enclosed garden. The Pod was in excellent condition, the Hot Tub was a massive plus and so relaxing. There was lots to explore in and around the area. The locals was very nice and helpful.
