The twin room, with beautiful views of Matlock town, the hills beyond and Riber Castle, has a staircase leading to the converted loft. The loft room is a spacious double with a contemporary feel, its own TV and a light-filled Velux window. To the back of the property there is a stone outhouse perfect for storing bicycles, boots and coats. Up a set of stone steps, you will find a serene raised patio where you can kick back and relax together. This cottage reflects the history of John Smedley who is a key figure in Matlock history, with features such as the cotton mill bobbins.
