I don’t normally write reviews, but this place defiantly deserved one. Amazing holiday from start to finish..the views from the hottub were like no other. The whole barn was well equipped with everything you needed. Even a little box that you can buy things from! So thoughtful. Not much to do around the area but if you drive out you can find little beauty spots! I will 100% be coming back here, just the best place.
This was our 2nd stay at Beacon View barns, we’ve got our 3rd stay booked for next week, our 4th booked for May and our 5th booked for Christmas! It’s safe to say we love this place, it’s perfect in every way! The barns are so beautiful, well equipped and safe for our dogs. Lin and James are the most perfect hosts and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable! No amount of words can describe how amazing this place is, I want to recommend it but I’m worried that people will book all the dates and none will be left for us Can’t wait for our stay next week ❤️
We have just got back from a 4 night stay. The Barn was amazing and the scenery was out of this world. We arrived to a welcome pack of prosecco, flowers, eggs and treats for the dog which was a lovely gesture. Our 5 year old and 4 month old lab loved it and didn’t want to come home!! We spent hours in the hot tub and on our last morning we woke up to snow which was a fabulous ending to a lovely break away. We hope to return soon!!
We had a fantastic holiday at No.1 Beacon View Barn in July. It’s in an idyllic spot, where the only noise you can hear is the occasional sheep bleating & the view is just stunning from the front of the property. The barn is beautifully decorated, with comfy seating, big wardrobes, high ceilings and a great rainfall shower. The kitchen was really well equipped (better than ours at home I think!) & the welcome basket with prosecco, eggs and dog treats was a lovely touch. The garden is safely enclosed which was great for our dog – she loved sitting on the patio staring at the sheep in the fields. Lin & James (the owners) came & introduced themselves & made sure we knew how to contact them if needed. They’re very friendly & have lots of advice about places to walk & eat which is great if you don’t know the area – there is also a good supply of maps and tourist attraction leaflets in the barn. There are some good walks you can do from the doorstep and it’s only a short drive to some nice towns & pubs. We had a great time exploring during the days, then relaxing in the hot tub sipping wine in the evenings looking at the view. We only stayed for a week but felt so relaxed and recharged by the time we headed home, we’re already starting to plan our next visit!
We spent a lovely weekend at Beacon View Barns as a family get away. We hired the two cottages between us, each with their own hot tub and in a safe enclosed garden area. We took our dogs, who were safely enclosed in the garden and enjoyed the lovely surrounding walks. The barns themselves are stunning, all brand new and fully equipped. We arrived with the intention of staying put for the weekend. We kept our young children busy by baking in the well equipped kitchen and playing some the games provided. Upon arrival we were provided with prosecco, fresh eggs, milk, tea, coffee and fresh flowers. The hot tubs were all ready and waiting when we arrived, this was certainly a high light of our trip. We took all our food with us, but I am told that you can order tesco delivery to the barns too. It snowed quite heavily during our stay, the hosts were fab and told us to stay put in order to stay safe - as such we ended up staying a day longer than we had plans as the roads were completely impassable. We will definitely be returning, such a lovely relaxing get away!
