Nice and cosy lodge with a great hotub that we loved! We didn’t realise how close the lodge was to the owners house (in their back garden) the owner had a big dog that we would let out that she didn’t let us no about which came running out infront of the car a few times, we also had a very small dog so I carried her to the car each time. Not a lot of grass for if your bringing your furry friends. Weather wasn’t the best but we mad every day count! We loved the hot tub and taking our dog to the near beaches!
This cabin has got to be up there with the best dog friendly holiday let’s going,it’s in a nice quiet location with great views, with a awesome hot tub which is privately situated.Lovely cosy beds then to wake up to a nice hot shower or maybe the tub, good up to date tv plus all what you need for them wet days we can’t have anything.lovely dog walks and plus having one of the best golf course in Wales just 5 mins away a great experience to play.Excellent place to stay.
Stayed for 7 days with husband and 2 dogs. Pros: lovely views Nice beach nearby Netflix on TV Cons:bedrooms and linen smelt musty. Bathroom door lock broke. Extractor fan not working. Food left in freezer. Owners dog fouling near our entrance to cabin and not moved. Bathroom floor tatty, covered by mats. Instructions for hot tub were to throw a cap of oxygen in after use,no test strip or any other chemicals needed, left to maintain tub ourselves, hence we never used it at all,as we couldn't be sure the water was safe to use. No welcome book just piece of paper on wall. No welcome book, just few instructions on paper on wall. Electric tripped when using kettle and toaster at same time,no instructions as to where electric box was to rectify. Bits of wood covering on wardrobes chipped off. Generally not the cosy cabin as described. Informed our holiday firm who then informed owners but they weren't willing to accept financially any complaints but couldn't deny any ,hence photos.. in my view shabby cabin sorry .
Our Christmas break was wonderful with our two dogs, the title of the Cabin lived up to it's name (Cosy Cabin) and Sian was so lovely, the area is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring ways of getting down to the beaches. We will definitely be going back, can't wait.
Fabulous walks stunning views dog friendly cabin equipped with everything you’ll need Sian is a welcoming lovely host would definitely be returning 10/10
Perfection! The Cabin was fantastic, spacious, clean, attractive, very well equipped. Added bonus of hot tub, wifi, helpful owner, location.... Got there to find the place just what we needed, bottle of Prosecco in the fridge, hot tub ready. We like to bake a little with the kids so we asked for a bun tray, no problem. mid week we had a little problem with the hot tub, no problem, Sian waited till we went out, sorted it and was all done for when we arrived back later that day. Wifi was good, we like our modern tech so being able to connect, even took 'Alexa' Privacy was good, although the owner lived in the house at the other side of the yard we had full privacy on the decking area and no other cabins in view with one of the best views across the fields upto the mountains. The little village of Morfa Nefyn has a good beach and a walk on the beach heading to the golf course and back is lovely, bit rocky in places so wear good footwear. A few shops in the village inc Costcutter, although it didn't really cut the cost! it had everything we needed. We arrived, unpacked and then drove to Abersoch where there's an Asda (big shop). Another bonus is within 45 mins your on the outskirts of Snowdonia, where we had a lovely walk, very enjoyable with the kids and dog. Can't say there was any bad bits to this holiday, weather was very kind, the whole booking was worth every penny.
Home from home, Sian has equipped the Cabin with absolutely everything you need for your stay, linen and towels included. Fabulous Hot Tub with stunning views. Sian is really helpful. Excellent location. Will definitely be going back. Dog friendly too Very relaxing stay.
