Tucked away on the edge of Tedburn St Mary is Great Huish Farm, a 40 acre sheep farm just a short drive away from the Dartmoor National Park. The original ploughman's quarters have been expertly converted from a 16th century long barn where the heavy horses were stabled, into two superb holiday homes. The Furrow, the larger of the two, retains much of the character of the original barn, with ancient beams and sloping ceilings. The living space is bright, airy and open plan, complete with wood burning stove and oak floors and encompasses a stylish kitchen area. A winding staircase leads to two bedrooms, one of which has glazed doors overlooking the pony field below. To the side of the property is a lovely secluded patio with garden furniture, this leads to a lawned garden which is shared with its neighbour, The Yoke.
