In the heart of the popular seaside resort of Teignmouth, is Sunny Mount, a beautiful Victorian terraced townhouse. Retaining some original features, Sunny Mount has been lovingly refurbished to offer stylish holiday accommodation with a nautical theme - including portholes and a pirate chest! The fabulous kitchen/diner has a glass roof, and is the real focal point of the house. This enormous room, with a snug at one end has a real holiday feel. Doors lead out to the small courtyard with a patio and a covered area complete with garden furniture. Over the upper two floors are 5 bedrooms, the master double and the second floor double bedroom both have views across the roof tops to the beach and pier. The bunk room is ideal for both children and adults. A short walk takes you to the award-winning sandy beach which features a promenade, Victorian pier and huge children's play park with water fountains. Teignmouth also offers a wonderful selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. With the train station and passenger ferry to Shaldon within easy walking distance you can leave the car behind.

First Floor: Bedroom 1 with double bed (bed accessed from one side only). Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, WC and washbasin. Three stairs up to Bedroom 2 (limited hanging space) with two sets of bunk beds. Bedroom 3 with king-size bed and TV with en-suite shower room with shower, WC and washbasin. Second Floor: Bedroom 4 with twin beds. Bedroom 5 with king-size bed. Shower Room with shower, WC and washbasin.
Location Details
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?
Reviews
This house is ideally suited to explore Teignmouth and the surrounding area. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre, with great views and the house has been immaculately refurbished and is in excellent condition offering great facilities. I stayed here while attending a course at SeaSports Southwest along with a number of other students but there was plenty of room, good bathroom facilities and rooms to relax in without all of us getting in each other's way. There is limited parking on the road outside the house but an inexpensive public car park is located just over 100 metres from the house. I would be very happy to stay here again.
