We’ve just returned from a 3 night stay at this cottage. Definitely gonna be going back. Location is perfect. Everything is on your doorstep. Food, drink etc. The cottage lay out is great. It’s really well equipped, clean and homely. It’s the best cottage we’ve stayed in. Matt, the owner emailed us on our first night thanking us for booking and basically just asking if all was good, which was nice. Bottle of wine was a nice touch too. I never ever write reviews, but thought I would on this one as It was spot on and ticked all the boxes. Looking forward to going back. One last thing, I’m very particular and like everything to be as it should, and we’ve just had a great weekend all round. Ya won’t be disappointed staying here.
Stayed at this cute little cottage for a week, the cottage is very well equipped and everything you need is there,it was very clean and it felt very homely. We booked this cottage as we had just got a puppy and it was dog friendly. We had the pleasure of eating and drinking in the wheatsheaf and 3 horse shoes pub and must say they were very welcoming with our pooches, one been a over excited pup. The food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced. We walked the Ingleton Falls and really enjoyed it,we also visited Kirkby lonesdale, skipton, kendal and windermere.,overall a great little cottage, fab location and excellent pubs,we would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful part of the country and copper cottage.
Had an amazing long weekend at Copper Cottage. Cottage was very clean and tidy with good facilities. Location is excellent, couple of very nice local pubs (Wheatsheaf and Old Post Office) and some incredible walks on the doorstep.
Great holiday at Copper Cottage, think we must have been one of the 1st familes to stay. Really nice cottage, tradtional but very well and stylishly renovated. Very easy and comforatble to live in, only wish it had been a bit colder to get the wood burning stove going! Lots of good walking and local pubs in the village. Look forard to another trip.
Clean cottage in a great location. The location was perfect for nice walks and to enjoy the waterfall with a great pub nearby. Would defiantly recommend it and book it again in the future.
We had a brilliant week at Copper Cottage! Like a home from home - lovely lounge and kitchen space to prepare dinner and have a chat - great bathroom with shower and bath if you want a soak after a long walk! It’s even got a boot room for muddy boots and dogs! Not that that there was much mud as the weather was amazing - spent time in the garden with a glass of wine - the Wheatsheaf Pub is only a minute away and the Old Post Office pub just down the road is well worth a visit or two. Went on many fine walks including obviously the Waterfalls walk which is literally just across the road! We also walked up Ingleborough and went for a dip in the Outdoor pool - in Yorkshire! Anyway a great week in a wonderful cottage in a fantastic village - will definitely be returning to Copper Cottage!
