Situated on the edge of the Dalby Forest is the village of Ebberston. The village has a main street, which is lined with stone cottages, and a pub. A stream flows through the village and down to Derwent River and the village of Yedingham, which is only a five minute drive away. The surrounding area has something for everyone, from a 9 hole golf course and children's play area to mountain biking.
From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?
Chapel Cottage is a gorgeous little place, spotlessly clean l, full of character and perfectly located for North Yorkshire attractions like Scarborough, Whitby, Malton, Flamingo Land and the Moors. One of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in. Several nice pubs nearby including one, the Grapes, in walking distance. We will return - the only reason it won't be every year is that the cottage doesn't allow pets and we miss our dog!
