The narrow streets are beautifully lined with cottages, gardens and floral displays. This part of Devon is also designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, perfect for walkers and birdwatchers, due to the coastal cliffs and rugged landscape. The North Devon Coastal Path is also an essential part of your holiday if you enjoy walking. The coastal towns and villages of Illfracombe, Combe Martin, Barnstaple and Woolacombe are only a short drive away.
