The lodge is very close to Keswick town centre only 15 mins walk. Ideally located for climbing Skiddo no car needed. The cabin had everything we needed and all appliances were in perfect condition. It was superbly clean when we arrived and had plenty of games and dvds for entertainment. I must say the double bed was very comfortable with a memory foam mattress. We had not sleep so well in ages. The views from the terrace where superb, very peaceful with loads of birds around. We will definitely book it again. Parking was ample too.
Tutheren lodge was excellent, everything you could need provided and more. the location was perfect only a ten minute walk from town. i came on holiday for peace and quiet after the passing of my son and i certainly got it! the surroundings were breathtaking. there was nothing i disliked about my holiday and i will definately be back!
Even though the weather wasn't on our side the lodge was always warm and welcoming. It was our sons first ever holiday (hes 9months old) and he loved the lodge. The location couldn't have been any better for us and its surroundings were amazing. We will definitely be back!!!
The house was well appointed, very clean, and had every mod con required for a short holiday break in the lakes.
This was our first holiday for a number of years and I was nervous we had picked the right sort of accommodation... I had no need to worry, from opening the door I felt immediately like it was a home from home and both myself and my husband said we could live somewhere like thi all of the time. Stunning views from the balcony. Also the agents were exremely helpful.
The lodge itself was excellent and the owner has clearly thought of all the needs. Bedrooms a lovely size and the deck area was fab for the kids. Cannot fault lodge at all. Only thing that let it down was the location. With 2 small children crossing over the busy road was a worry.
