It has an open-plan kitchen and dining room, and a separate sitting room. Off-road parking is available for plenty of cars. Outside has a rear garden with lawned and patio areas and furniture. Balmedie is a stunning cottage located in the quiet village of Binbrook between the market towns of Louth and Market Rasen, in Lincolnshire. Throughout the home, the colours are attractive, welcoming and very much in the modern-contemporary decor, but in-keeping with the classic, period cottage style. It boasts lightly decorated walls and high-quality wooden furnishings to emulate that home-from-home vibe with a countryside feel to it. There are four bedrooms: one king-size double with en-suite shower room, one double and two twins (zip/link - can be super kings on request). Each room is ideally placed at either end of the long of the extended L shaped house to offer views of the garden. With a family shower room and bathroom with high-quality fixtures and fittings - choose from a lovely walk-in shower or a fitted bath to prepare for your day in style. The kitchen has a set of stunning white units, marble worktops and attractive black tiling, with plenty of modern appliances on-hand to suit your cooking needs. The large dining area has seating for up to eight people and is a wonderful place to dine together as a family. Move through the house and find the spacious living room. Enjoy three cosy sofas centred around the TV. Here you can relax after a long day and unwind with your favourite shows and films, with the benefit of the woodburning stove to keep you warm. Upstairs there is a mezzanine games room complete with a pool table. There is off-road parking available for several cars. Outside has a rear and front garden with lawned and patio area and plenty of seating to sit out and enjoy the sun. While you stay at Balmedie, why not visit Market Rasen Racecourse? Join the crowd in cheering on your favourite horses, with racing happening all year round with many different special occasions: Family Fundays, Ladies Days and Music nights. For those interested in the counties aviation heritage, visits to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight centre, at RAF Coningsby, and the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage centre, at East Kirkby, are essential. Balmedie was a lovely place to stay. The rooms all comfortably furnished and the kitchen well equipped. The games room a great feature. The owners gave us a warm welcome. My granddaughters loved the beautiful garden. Cleethorpes is 25 minutes away, Uncle Henry's is close by, Blyton's Ice Cream is a must. We had a great stay and hope to return in the future.
Roomy beautiful property Comfortable beds and large bathroom/shower rooms. Plenty of hot water.Large garden and outside seating. Kitchen and utility all well equipped. Carol the owner very friendly.Great play room for the teenagers. They all want to go back next year. Would definitely book again.
