Enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. It is very well equipped, cosy, and comfy. A proper home from home. Great location for shops and the wonderful walks in Anagach Woods .
We are currently staying in Dalnahaven and absolutely loving it! We usually bring our caravan to Grantown on Spey, but decided coming out of lock down that a cottage may be better. In terms of location, it really could not be handier. Just off the main street and within a short walk of the gorgeous Anagach Woods. Fantastic walking and mountain biking there. I am a light sleeper and was nervous about the proximity to the road, but it is very quiet at night and the windows in the master bedroom are very soundproof. The house itself is a smashing size and has been organised in the most thoughtful ways. It feels very spacious and comfortable and there are lots of touches you don't get in a lot of rental places - ample cleaning products, items like kitchen roll and toilet roll, basics like salt and pepper and a lovely welcome pack with milk, biscuits, tea and coffee and even a bottle of wine! Our hard-to-please 14 year old teen son announced on the first night that this was going to be somewhere he would be sad to leave!
We have just returned from a very relaxing holiday in Dalnahaven. Comfortable and cosy. The small garden was good for the dog. Very close to town centre but actually very quiet. Jacki and Cam ( the owners) live nearby and were very helpful when we had a minor problem with the central heating. I guess the only possible negative might be that there was no off road parking but we had no problem parking outside the cottage most of the time. We will certainly return to this cottage.
