Boasting an elevated position, overlooking the breath-taking scenes of the Welsh valley, this spacious accommodation offers rooms with stunning vistas and a cosy, traditional feel throughout. The charming snug room rests with a comfortable position, keeping in tone with the characterful qualities of the cottage; it showcases an exposed chimney breast with inset woodburner and a traditional slate floor. Glyndyfrdwy is situated in the Dee Valley, just 4.4 miles from the town of Llangollen. Situated close to the foothills of the Berwyn Mountains, the village is renowned as the home of Owain Glyndwr where, in 1400, he proclaimed himself Prince of Wales. Today you can still see Owain's Mount - the eroded remains of a 12th century castle motte. Walking is available with the Offa's Dyke Pathway nearby, whilst canoeing on the River Dee is on offer for those who enjoy watersports. The nearby town of Llangollen offers a range of shops, pubs and eateries and is internationally famous for its annual Musical Eisteddfod.
