Reviews

We stayed here first week in July as the Covid19 restrictions were lifted. This cottage was in a lovely location with your own private garden, and on a farm which was very quiet, however, we felt the cleanliness of the cottage could be a lot better. The dining room chairs had a build up of greasy fingerprints as did the arms of the sofa and chairs and the worktop in the kitchen was loose. The bathrooms were very clean though. Starter pack was very minimum, a few tea bags, jar of cheap coffee and a small milk, anti bacterial wipes and handsanitiser . The bigger problem was the scratching noise from our en-suite bathroom ceiling. We were on a farm so suspected rats in the loft area. This kept me awake most nights. We reported this but the owners, said they would need to take the tiles off to get access, but nothing corrected in the duration of our time there. The carpets in the bedrooms were needing updating but were clean. A bit of a shame on the whole because it's in a lovely location and the owners were pleasant.
