The dwelling also benefits from an open-plan living space, consisting of a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is off-road parking for 1 car, a private courtyard with a hot tub and a communal lawned area with furniture. The Dairy is a marvellous base from which to explore the delights of Cheshire with your loved ones. Please be advised this property is only able to accept Monday and Friday check-ins.

Upton-by-Chester is a large suburb and civil parish resting on the outskirts of the historic city of Chester in Cheshire. Including both the villages of Upton and Upton Heath, this history-rich region is a great base for exploring the many wonders of the North West of England. This converted barn is wonderful. With underfloor heating it is so warm and cosy. On arrival we were surprised to find the heating on and a bottle of champagne, milk and waters in the fridge, plus the hot tub was already heated up and ready to use. How lovely to be able to immediatley make a cuppa and relax on the sofa, then take a dip in the hot tub. We used the oven 4 times during the week to cook a few evening meals, we had nipped to the huge M&S down the road for some delicious meals. We used the hot tub, robes and slippers every day. It was always heated to 38⁰ at every time of the day. The bed was huge and very comfortable with lots of different lighting options from big lights, spot lights and lamps. The shower was powerful and hot with a towel radiator and extraction fan. We used the microwave and kettle with complimentary tea/coffee but not the dishwasher. We ate at the table for our evening meals. All the needed pots and pans, utensils, cutlery and placemats are there. There are decent sized tvs in the lounge and bedroom plus a cupboard full of dvds and games. They thought of everything!!! It was an absolutely wonderful week in The Dairy. 5 mins drive down the road is the Mcarthur Glenn Designer outlet and 10 mins drive is Chester Town Centre. Yet The Dairy is set in beautiful countryside with much needed Silence and darkness. No noise or light pollution. We often used the hot tub in the evening and it was so relaxing to star gaze the clear skies. The animal cameras set up around the property are a pleasant touch, you can watch the owls, goats, squirrels and alpacas on the TV live stream. All in all, it was superb! We will return for another stay and I have already recommended The Dairy to others.
