Reverse level. Downstairs: 1 x king size double bedroom, 1 x twin, both with en suite shower room with shower, WC, basin. Utility room. 1 x upstairs king size double bedroom with en suite bathroom with bath, hand shower, WC, basin. Upstairs sitting room with electric fire. Kitchen with dining area and balcony.
This smart cottage attached to an ancient farmhouse is two miles from Combe Martin village and three miles from the great beach. With an upside down layout and traditional Devon farm location, it is a peaceful, relaxing cottage for families or friends. From the hall with practical slate floor, you head up the stairs to your sitting room, a cosy place with electric fire for watching TV or the glimpse of the sea. Prepare and enjoy meals in the proper country style kitchen with dining table and glass doors to a balcony, from which you can get down to the garden. The upstairs double bedroom is a romantic place for couples to chill out, with its en suite bathroom with a bath made for two. You will find the other two bedrooms downstairs, both with handy en suite too. Outside the star feature is a hot tub in an adapted barn, big enough for five people to soak in after a long country walk, and complete with changing room with shower and furniture for eating outdoors. Enjoy games or a good book in the generous lawn garden with barbecue. This is a lovely uncrowded coastline to enjoy. The beach at Combe Martin is sheltered and you can safely swim or hire kayaks here, and maybe even catch a thrilling glimpse of dolphins. Bring your buckets because to either side of the beach are fabulous rock pools. The village has all you need in the form of shops and pubs, as well as a wildlife park, or walk the Coast Path to interesting Lynmouth and the funicular railway. Woolacombe and Saunton have all the sand and surf you could wish for, or head to Ilfracombe where you can board a boat to Lundy Island. Owls Roost is a very special place, loved by the farming family owners, and the friendly atmosphere is wonderful.

Bed linen and towels inc. in rent, Cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request, Off road parking for three cars. Barbecue, hot tub. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Note: Hot tub is available until 8pm or later by arrangement and is closed on Thursdays. Note: Electric vehicles cannot be charged at this property. Note: This property has a private water supply which is tested regularly.

Stayed here for 4 nights, set in the middle of the countryside, we were the first guests to stay here once the covid restrictions were lifted. The place was sparkling clean and comfortable and being able to soak in the hot tub after a busy day was amazing. The location was perfect, very quiet, beautiful scenery. Just be careful of the roads, very narrow with some idiot drivers. Definitely want to stay again, Jayne was a lovely host.
Gorgeous house, perfectly located for the beaches of Woolacombe and other delights of north Devon. The house is immaculate and with all three bedrooms having ensuite facilities, perfect after a long day at the beach and getting ready for a relaxing evening.
In a well positioned part of Devon,close to many amenities,cottage is so well equipped and is very comfortable,excellent for families up to six people,each bedroom having its own en suite,nice garden if the you have the weather for it Nice pub restaurants nearby.
Excellent cottage, comfortable, cozy and very very well equipped. Highly recommended. Hot tub excellent, note it is closed from 8pm to 10am and closed on Thursday. You are a little in the middle of the country so you will need to use your car alot. We loved it.
