Woodlands is a handsome, Grade II listed, three-storey Georgian house near a creek in the lovely Devon town of Dartmouth. The house sleeps 13 people in six bedrooms over two levels, five double and a twin with five bathrooms or shower rooms. On the top floor is a children's games/sitting room and on the ground floor are two sitting rooms and a dining room, all with wood burning stoves, and a kitchen. Outside is a terrace across the width of the house with outdoor furniture and barbecue and terraced lawn below, plus parking for four cars. With the shops, restaurants, galleries and pubs within walking distance, Woodlands is an excellent family house for a lively holiday in Devon.

Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

A truly fabulous and luxurious house, set in a stunning location just a 10 minute walk into Dartmouth. Amazing views and the house caters for everything you need for a holiday. We were a party of 12, but the house is large enough to not feel cramped, lovely high ceilings and wide doors, all the features of a Georgian house so very homely but cool in the hot weather. We were fortunate enough to have fantastic weather so used the outside terrace every day. If we didn’t want to do the walk into town, there are several nice coves around the castle for both swimming and crabbing. Parking will easily take 6 cars with is a bonus given the parking in general is an issue in Dartmouth. Really comfortable and luxurious beds are a must on holiday and this property didn’t let us down, in fact I cannot think of anything negative about our stay here and would highly recommend. A fantastic week for our 3 families from Suffolk, Essex and New Zealand to spend quality time together in the most beautiful part of Devon.
