Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.
Grandpa Dickinson is a great location for nearby Padstow. Plenty of lovely walks from the property and amazing beaches nearby. The Old Mill nearby is an amazing restaurant. Accommodation is a bright, open space - beautiful balcony (sun trap) to chill and relax on. Facilities at the property are spot on and we had everything we needed - a home from home - will definitely return
A wonderful holiday home in a quiet location. It's stylish with lovely art work dotted around . There are books to read , DVDs to watch and even paints, bushes and paper if you get inspired . A well.equpped kitchen with dish washer and washing machine . Ample parking . A dog friendly garden meant they could run around. Fascinating to watch all the different little birds coming to the feeder on the decking We decided to take the Saints trail into Padstow , not a walk for the feinthearted , it dips and climbs and also crosses the river by a really narrow bridge , not very enjoyable. I would recommend this as a good place to explore Cornwall . Our favourite visit was to the Minack Theatre and the fantastic beach next to it .
What a beautiful, stylish home. We’ve had a fabulous week. The owners have thought of every convenience and their styling reflects their artistic backgrounds - it’s really lovely. Dog friendly and situated close to many of cornwall’s best beeches - perfect
Grandpa Dicksons, what a find. We had a great week staying here, super quiet and very secluded. Looks good from the outside, well wait until you see the interior, so nicely decorated throughout. Warm and welcoming surroundings, a lovely open plan kitchen and lounge area, perfect for sociable cooking. Every last little detail at Grandpa Dicksons has been taken care of. For us it was great as being dog friendly we were able to bring out Lab and Dalmatian. We spent our days walking many of the routes in a welcome folder. If you like cooking the owners have every pot, pan, utensil and piece of crockery you could ever need. A fantastic, well loved and looked after cottage, thank you for letting us stay.
