The Grade II listed church has the remains of a set of stocks in its grounds. Just three miles away is the town of Holmfirth, famed as being the setting for comedy series Last of the Summer Wine. It has a good public swimming pool and fitness centre, parks, shops and restaurants. Huddersfield, and the cities of Sheffield, Leeds and Manchester, as well as the delights of the Peak District National Park are within reach.

Stayed here with a group of friends for a long weekend, we had a great time. The barn has been converted to a high standard and we had everything we needed. We absolutely loved the hot tub! The welcome pack of cava and home made short bread was a lovely touch too. One thing to note is that there is no cover for the hot tub so we brought our own gazebo as the weekend was forecast for rain, which was a life saver. Would definitely recommend this place and we are already looking forward to coming back next year! N.b the barn is also known as Hollins Farm
Morgan's barn was a beautiful property. Top class fixtures and fittings and lovely hot tub which was relaxing. Lots of room allowing the bridal party to get ready together x Katy (the owner) was very helpful and friendly. We had an amazing time x thank you.
This converted barn had everything you could ever need. The log burner, the hot tub, the doors leading from the bedroom to the enclosed garden and tub, the amazing Olympic pool sized bath, the beds are so comfy and the barn is toasty warm. Morgan’s barn was so beautiful, in a perfect picturesque location and really, really clean I’m allergic to animal hair and often have reactions staying in properties where dogs have been, this barn was spotless. The hosts were both wonderful, I haven’t anything negative to say. The whole place has been planned and set out perfectly, every last detail has been thought of.
Having just returned from spending a week at Morgans Barn. The hosts are amazing and can't do enough for you. A lovely welcome pack on arrival, which was a lovely surprise & even included treats for our dog. The log burner & hot tub are lovely touches, which we used during our break. The upside down arrangement worked really well & definitely made the most of the views. Can't wait to return. The owners have really thought of everything for you whole staying there.
Beautifully refurbished and furnished, everything you could want for a holiday including wood burning stove and hot tub. We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed the amenities and location. Highly recommended.
