We just got back from a three night stay at courtyard cottage and it was lovely. The cottage is just gorgeous and thoughtfully decorated. It's very cosy and a brilliant location, close to all the shops and pubs aswell as lots of walks. We love to do some big walks when we visit the lakes and this is the perfect location for that. The owners were so helpful as we had a bit of a struggle finding the place when we first arrived and they were more than happy to help.
We stayed for a week just as lockdown had lifted. The cottage is lovely. It is stylishly decorated and was spotlessly clean. It is a level above others that we have stayed at before. Great location in the centre of the village. Close to bars and restaurants (when they open fully again) and a short walk to the beautiful local countryside. We would highly recommend the Courtyard Cottage (even the neighbours were lovely)
I stayed here with anoth couple, we loved it from the moment we got there. the fairy ligts in the dinning room we just loved. it is lovely and clean. it had two bedrooms, they was lovely small but lovely added to the charm. it had everything you need.
We loved our time at the cottage, a minute or 2 from some great places to eat, The Orange Tree was our fave, the Chinese takeaway on the corner was perfect for our late arrival when no one else was serving A beautiful walk to Ruskins view and the Radical Steps to the River Lune. Ingleton Waterfalls is definitely worth a visit and worth paying the parking price everywhere is dog friendly, Alfie our schnauzer loved it. It would be great to see a visitor book at the cottage, it really helps new guests find their way around and the best walks, eateries, recommendations etc. One question we had was whether there is any recycling facility? Thanks KB, we'll be back ❤️
This cottage is absolutely gorgeous we loved the location and how close it was to all the town's amenities and also a short walk to the waterside/pebble beach. We loved the cottage's quirkiness with the stairs to different levels and the cosy rooms. The finish was excellent and to a high standard and it was very well equipped with everything you need. The electric blinds for the Velux windows in the roof were the best now i want some for my house. We really did not want to leave and will definitely be back soon. Thanks for an amazing stay.
