This property is ideal for a couple who love walking and exploring the beautiful countryside as it is situated right in the heart of the luscious landscape. There is a comfortable twin bedroom with lovely en-suite shower room for your convenience. As you go into the sitting room, you will be welcomed by a comfy reclining leather 3-seater sofa so why not get cosy and relax with the electric fire on to keep you warm? There is also a TV to keep you entertained or simply sit quietly and indulge in a favourite book. The kitchen has a dining area, should you choose to eat at home and throughout the property there are quaint furnishings to make you feel right at home. This humble accommodation is detached from the Owner’s house next door, with an undercover timber garage to park your car and outside is a gravelled patio area with chairs and table to sit out and enjoy an evening meal in the peaceful surroundings. There are wonderful views from the property of the garden and the pond and the owners paddock where you can see ducks and geese as well as further afield catching a glimpse of deer. There are a variety of places of interest nearby including: Royal Fleet Air Arm Museum, National Trust Sourhead Gardens, Glastonbury and Clark’s Outlet Village, not to mention some glorious countryside walking routes. Somerton is a beautiful destination with old town charm and many historical buildings to see. Once you've had time to explore, head to one of the delightful tearooms or cafes to take the weight off your feet. Trout Cottage is in an extremely pleasant, countryside location, yet within walking distance of Somerton with 3 pubs, an excellent bistro and some shops. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
