Ground floor accommodation with two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin with zip and link beds (can be converted into a king-size bed). Family bathroom with bath, shower over bath, WC and basin. Open-plan living space with kitchen, dining and sitting spaces.
Electric central heating and wood burning stove. Electric hob and cooker, dishwasher, Fridge and Freezer, washing machine, microwave. TV, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. No private parking but off-road parking area twenty yards from property. Enclosed front and back gardens. Two well-behaved pets allowed. Sorry, no smoking. Pub is 2 minute walk and nearest shop is on peninsula is 14 miles from property. Note: There are steps at the front entrance of this property, however there is access at the back of the property that is all one level and suitable for those with mobility issues or wheelchairs. Note: The property can be reached via a small ferry crossing of 5 minutes, however it is possible to reach the property via a narrow, single track road of around 30 miles.
The village of Ardgour is known as the gateway of the Ardmurchan Peninsula, a popular location for walkers and climbers wishing to explore its beautiful hills. The village sits on the edge of Loch Linnhe and has a shop and a hotel serving delicious food. Fort William can be reached by crossing on the Corran ferry, which ploughs regularly across the narrows of Loch Linnhe, or by road. This is an area ideal for exploring unspoilt Scotland and seeing a variety of wildlife such as otters, seals and red deer in their natural habitat. The area has numerous villages with a good range of shops, restaurants and facilities for visitors, all set among amazing scenery.
