Having had our original holiday cancelled due to Covid and under lockdown restrictions we were so glad we found this lovely local lodge. The owners greeted us on arrival and they were so welcoming. The lodge was so warm, very clean and so comfortable. It was well equipped but we did find that for 5 nights self catering the small fridge/freezer was a struggle but we managed and a microwave would have been handy too but once again we coped and this would not put us off going back. The hot tub outside was so relaxing and we unwinded for the whole stay. Highly recommended.
What a beautiful lodge! Very impressed with everything, it was clean, lovely decor and had stunning views! Hosts Amanda and Craig friendly and helpful. The welcome hamper and fizz was a thoughtful and lovely touch, thank you both for having us...we will be back I’m sure and recommend to family and friends! Thank you again both.
Beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings. All the little touches that the owners have done just makes it so lovely and snug and perfect . We made full use of the hot tub whilst we was staying . The welcome hamper and bottle of fizz was just the extra mile the owners go too. Thankyou both Amanda & Craig for our stay. I would love to return one day and see the stables complete. Great places to eat Black Bull - Tuesday night curry Waddington Arms - beat the clock before 19.00 great value for money . Shireburn arms - lovely Sunday roast and Lancashire hot pot.
