Reviews

After traveling almost 30 hours from Perth west Australia we arrived in this beautiful cottage at around 4.30 pm on a Friday tired and apprehensive about what we had booked . What a wonderful surprise we had when we walked into this absolutely immaculate little cottage . We immediately felt at home . There was a beautiful welcoming basket of lovely welsh produce in the kitchen for us . There was everything we could imagine that we needed for our weeks stay. Everything was provided including cleaning products and stuff in the cupboard. It felt just like been at home. Fabulous location close to the freeway , shops the local town and some historical sites. If you are heading to north wales and are looking to stay In this area I highly recommend this cottage. If we ever come back to wales ,this will be the place we will stay. Thank you to the host for such an amazing stay . We will be definitely back one day .

Myself, my fiance and our daughter (4) stayed here the last week in July and thought it was amazing. We were a bit nervous holidaying so soon after covid lockdown was eased but needn't have worried as the cottage was cleaned to a high standard and had a healthy supply of antibacterial gel, handwash, and cleaning wipes/spray. We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome package with necessities such as tea/eggs/milk/etc. And my daughter was over the moon to find cake and chocolate biscuits. The kitchen was also extremely well supplied and had everything we needed (except eggcups), this was great as I like to cook on holiday. There was a good selection of supermarkets nearby and some brilliant take-out options too. The wifi was brilliant and allowed us to stream shows for my daughter without any problems. Prior to arrival I was a little worried about parking but the cottage is in a lovely spot with plenty of space to park outside. The garden is beautifully kept and really spacious- great for dining outside in the sunny weather (garden furniture available in the shed). There is a Castle and nature reserve within walking distance and a childrens play area in the village. You can head into Rhyl along a beautiful river walk or take a short drive in the car. We visited Towyn, Prestatyn, Rhyl, and Llandudno and only scratched the surface. I would definitely revisit the area as there is so much we missed and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Jasmine Cottage again, it was brilliant.
