Over three floors. Five bedrooms: On the first floor there are 3 x first-floor king-size double with en-suite showers, basin and WC. Up a flight of stairs there is a 1 x second-floor king-size double, that has its own shower/WC opposite. 1 x second-floor twin (zip/link, can be king-size double on request). Second-floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. First-floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Kitchen with breakfast table. Utility. Lounge/diner.
Gas central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV's with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Highchair. Off-road parking for 6 cars. Lawned garden with patio, furniture and hot tub. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: Some road noise may be heard. Note: No hen/stag or similar. Note: Children need to be supervised on patio area. Please note that due to the property being in the national parks the hottub only has planning permission to be used up to 9pm every evening and outside noise to be kept to a minimum as this is a quiet countryside location. Long Preston is a village in Malhamdale, 12 miles from Skipton, 4 miles from Settle. To the north, the landscape rises to the fells, moors and valleys of the Dales; to the south are the wetlands of the Ribble Valley. The village benefits from several village greens, with footpaths leading to the hills. The railway station lies on the edge of the village. Nearby Settle is a town with a weekly market, and a good selection of restaurants and pubs and a public swimming pool.
From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?
A spacious and comfortable house. Lovely ensuite bedrooms. Well equipped with country views. Plenty of outside space and parking. Good pub within five minutes walk and railway station similar distance. Not far from the busy A65 but the traffic noise is not intrusive. We all enjoyed our stay as a family group of age range 2-88. Didn't use the hot tub but it is well maintained. Would definitely stay again.
