Settled in the heart of the picturesque Machno Valley, a stone's throw from the quaint town of Betws-y-Coed, rests the rural village of Penmachno. The village is home to a handful of delicious eateries, including pubs and cafes, along with a collection of shops offering the essentials. Popular with avid outdoor adventurers, there's a wealth of walking, hiking, cycling and birdwatching opportunities available in the area. Snowdonia and the North Wales' Heritage Coastlines are all easily accessible.
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.
Everything was fantastic about this property, very clean and modern and comfortable. Everything you could need for a holiday was supplied. Views were incredible to wake up to in the mornings and of course being quite remote it was so so quiet which was lovely and relaxing. Parking is at the rear of the property and on first look is not easy to find, and the small back road had quite high grass growing. After the first night we parked our car on the main road about 100 yards away where it was wider, as other people were doing and this was much easier. Would definitely love to stay there again next time we are in North Wales. One important thing I would mention if you are travelling from the Porthmadog direction you would come across a narrow most of the time road with sheer drops, car passing was an experience. A local in the property next door told us it was better and quicker to head in the Betsw-y-Coed direction to the A5 direction - we subsequently used that route for the rest of our holiday
