We found this little treasure the ideal retreat for a quiet few days away. The owner greeted us on arrival and made us very welcome . The barn is bright and airy and tastefully decorated and finished to an extremely high standard with everything you could possibly want in a fully fitted kitchen including the lovely touch of cold drinks in the fridge and fresh scones with jam and cream on arrival and a supply of tea, coffee and milk. There is a good supply of products to make use of in both the kitchen and bathroom. It is spacious and comfortable. What was very well thought out was the number of plug sockets throughout, often there are not enough and here there are many. Very useful. Wooden floors through with large rugs. Do not be put off by the open plan aspect of this accommodation, it works very well and the double doors from the lounge and kitchen to the secluded back patio garden where there are 2 comfy seating areas to sit and while away your thoughts in absolute peace with a lovely view across an open field where the sheep came to the fence to visit . A bbq/fire pit gives the extra enjoyment for outside living and we certainly made use of it over a hot couple of days. This was certainly what we needed for total relaxation and we would love to stay here again.
