Swan Lodge is a sumptuous log cabin resting on the edge of the village of Wedmore in Somerset. It comes set with three bedrooms which are made up of a king-size with an en-suite, a further king-size and a bunk room, as well as a shower room, the property is able to sleep six people. This sumptuous lodge which is one of two identical lodges rests amidst open countryside, looking idyllically over the Somerset levels with spectacular views of Glastonbury Tor. The village is a mile outside the picturesque and historical village of Wedmore, and 8 miles from Glastonbury. The property boasts an open-plan living area including fully fitted kitchen, with light flooding in from bi-folding doors that bring the outdoors in. There are three bedrooms; one upstairs king-size room with an en-suite, the other downstairs king-size and children's bunk bedroom share a fully fitted wet room. Outside there is a sheltered patio area with its own hot tub and outdoor furniture. Set within a rural location, with amazing views of the surrounding countryside, guests may want to relax in the hot tub or make the most of fantastic walks or cycle rides in the immediate area. The superb property is an ideal base for exploring the many attractions that Somerset has to offer, for nature lovers the Somerset levels, Mendip Hills and Polden Hills and for families the coastal beaches of Weston Super Mare, Burnham on Sea, nearby Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. It is a great location for family days out to Puxton Adventure Park, Longleat Safari Park, Brean Leisure Park and Brean Water Park. The nature reserves at Westhay and Shapwick Heath are a must for birdwatchers while Wells Cathedral and Glastonbury Abbey provide the cultural heritage of the area. Street is nearby for those looking for a designer bargain at Clarks Village and a visit to Somerset wouldn't be complete without a visit to Thatchers Cider with its restaurant and shop,or the more rustic experience of Wilkins Cider Farm just down the road. Taunton, Bath and Bristol are all under an hour so provide perfect choice for day trips. This lodge is perfect for couples and families at any time of year and the owners also have their very own Sea Harrier jump jet for you to sit in. Guests are also spoiled with the site of their neighbours in the next field; Jeffrey, Percy and Albert the alpacas and Dottie and Minnie the miniature horses.

Just enjoyed a fabulous week in the gorgeous brand new lodge in a lovely location near wells. Everything you could ever wish for in a holiday home on a lovely bworking farm so always lots to look at from stunning windows overlooking what came only be described as the Savannah of the somerset levels. Owners so friendly and helpful you really do feel you know them as soon as you arrive and couldn’t make you more welcome. Us three adults and 1 year old stayed for a week and can’t wait to return next year to Make more memories and have more fun. Lodge clean lovely linen and amenities with beautiful outdoor space for children to enjoy whilst getting to know the ponies and dogs gorgeous hot tub very private and all in all you can’t get better than this for a holiday lodge in the uk ( we have tryed many, so know a good One when we find it ) Sure anyone would enjoy as minx as we did

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
