This detached cottage is located in the grounds of the owner's home, a quiet location on the outskirts of the city of Perth, with something for everyone. All one level, this retreat makes the perfect getaway for couples, or enthusiastic guests simply wishing to uncover the best of local attractions and beyond. Enter inside through the porch and you will be welcomed by a charming sitting room, including comfortable seating for hours of relaxation, and a pebble-effect fireplace situated central to the layout. To accompany your nights and mornings, the well-equipped kitchen provides everything you need to feel right at home, with the added extra of a breakfast bar, perfect for some collective event planning as you sip a warm cup of tea. Garden Cottage introduces a luxury shower room, designed to that of a hotel standard, with beautiful décor, and a walk-in shower room. Lastly the double bedroom is thoughtfully presented with mirrored, integrated wardrobes, bedside tables and contemporary soft furnishings. Only a short distance from shops, restaurants, Concert Hall, theatre and museums there is an abundance of attractions just waiting to be explored, as well as splendid riverside walks. The Big Tree Country with the Cathedral villages of Dunkeld and BIrnam situated on the beautiful banks of the River Tay and the towns of Pitlochry, Crieff and Blairgowrie are all within easy driving distance. The attractions of the new V&A Museum in Dundee, the home of golf in St. Andrews with its cathedral, the village of Falkland and it palace and the picturesque East Neuk of Fife are also readily accessible. Further afield a day trip to Edinburgh or Glasgow is easily managed. A trip up Kinnoull Hill brings you fantastic views in all directions whilst Scone Palace, where Scottish Kings were crowned, is renowned for its famous porcelain collection, maze, beautiful grounds with peacocks and hosting Antique/ Craft Fairs, Game Fairs, Horse Racing and Music Festivals. A wonderful cottage in a superb part of Scotland.

The nearby cathedral town of Dunkeld and the Victorian village of Birnam, located on the opposite bank of the River Tay, are also within easy driving distance.

We spent a wonderful 4 days in this delightful little cottage in one of the most charming areas in Perth. Set in a very quiet residential location this cottage has all one could desire for a relaxing and most comfortable stay. Very well furnished throughout with a wonderful bathroom and shower. Well-equipped kitchen with everything you could desire. It is set within the bounds of the owner's property who were warm and friendly folks. We wanted to book for another stay later in the year but, regrettably, that date was already taken which was no surprise.
We had a short break here. Fantastic! The place is set in a quiet residential area. No noise or disruption. A short walk into Perth for pubs, restaurants, culture etc. The owners were very attentive to our needs and the cottage provided everything we needed and more. Highly recommended. We will visit again.
