Sat on a working farm and adjoined to a farmhouse, this property is in a great location for those wanting to relax in the countryside. Oozing character alongside a stylish traditional theme, this modern day bungalow has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Step into the sitting room for a well-earned rest, showcasing quality furnishings completed by a charming, Yorkstone fireplace and electric fire with a marble hearth. Stroll out to the patio where you can take a seat and soak in the natural atmosphere, and if you manage to tear yourself away for a while, head into the market town of Brampton, a beautiful place to visit, rich in history with a local amenities to indulge. For avid walkers and nature enthusiasts, Talkin Tarn Country Park boasts 120 acres of farmland and woodland to take in alongside a 10,000 year old glacial lake. Acorns is a lovely retreat to base your Cumbrian holiday.
The market town of Brampton is the ideal base for exploring Hadrian’s Wall. In the centre of the town is Moot Hall, which was built in 1817, and now houses the Tourist Information Centre, and there is a large motte to the east of the town, which is 135 feet high and has the statue of the 7th Earl of Carlisle on it. A few miles outside Brampton is Talkin Tarn Country Park, covering 120 acres of farmland and woodland. Two miles away is Gelt Woods, which is an RSPB nature reserve and has the River Gelt running through it.
