The living room opens up to the kitchen and dining area which creates an open atmosphere and enough room for all guests to unwind together. The big sofas are in the perfect position for a cosy evening catching up with all your favourite shows, with the woodburning stove to keep you warm. Three bedrooms are available; with the request of turning the first floor super king-size bed into twin singles conveniently, or retreat to the ground floor twin or first floor king-size room. Two bathrooms are on-hand to help with the morning rush before you head out to explore southern Scotland, one of which being a ground floor shower room. Set amidst the stunning countryside of the Borders, Jedburgh has much to offer visitors. There are charming shops, pubs and award-winning, family-run restaurants to enjoy nearby, as well as historic attractions such as the fascinating Jedburgh Castle Jail, Mary Queen of Scots House and the imposing abbey, which towers over the town and dates back to 1138. Great fishing can be enjoyed on the Teviot, Tweed and Jed Rivers and there are 21 excellent golf courses to choose from. The Borders also offer some superb walking and cycling over breathtaking hillsides or amongst the enchanting Border Forests, and along St Cuthbert's Way, a 62 mile trail between Melrose and Lindisfarne, which passes Harestanes Countryside Visistor Centre.
