Hamilton's Studio is an apartment situated in the seaside town of Ryde, Isle of Wight. The great Georgian building is Grade II listed and was built for Lady Hamilton with the building next to it for Lord Nelson in 1820, and is situated in a desirable location on the seafront. The property has been completely renovated inside, with top-of-the-range furnishings and appliances, as well as Villeroy & Boch hardwood flooring. It opens up to an open-plan living room and dining area, which has a lovely window seat for up to three people, as well as a small breakfast table. Also found within the room is a bespoke triple bunk bed, with a double bed on the bottom and a single on top, perfect for couples or parents with one child. There is a fantastic fitted kitchen with solid oak worktops and white cabinets, ideal for some light cooking. From the kitchen is a large modern shower room and WC. Outside has a small stone garden area with furniture provided for the Hamilton Studio. Whilst you enjoy your stay at Hamilton's Studio, why not visit Ryde Pier? An early 19th century pier, it is the oldest seaside pleasure pier and today still allows walkers to enjoy its fantastic views, and it is only two minutes walk to sandy beaches. Also nearby is Amazon World Zoo Park, which features exotic animals from South America, including meerkats. It is the perfect day trip for you and your little one. With an array of great eateries and shops nearby the property is also excellently located at a nexus of transportation links, within 2 minutes walking distance the property has the following links: hovercraft, train, passenger ferry, bus terminals and a taxi rank, and it is less than 2 hour journey from London with train and ferry. One well behaved pet welcome - Please bring your own basket, blankets and bowls for your pet. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub a few mins walk. Note: Check in is 4pm. Note: Garden space used as a walk through to the other properties within the building. The storage room that contains a washing machine, tumble dryer and hoover, is not inside the studio but just one flight of stairs from it, It is not shared with any other building occupants, it only belongs to the Hamilton Studio. There is a bike rack in the bin storage

Located just a few minutes walk from the esplanade this property is located in the perfect location for a holiday in Ryde and to explore the Isle of Wight. Just 5/10 minute walk in to town. Stunning and smart from the outside, we knew this accommodation was going to live up to it's name. A parking space right outside the property too! Ryde itself has regular hovercraft departures, trains and buses just 5 mins walk from property so lots of links to get about if you don't want to drive. We took a train in to Shanklin for just £10 for the 3 of us return. That's cheaper than driving in and parking! Ryde itself has a little high street with lots of little shops and eateries to enjoy. We enjoyed our meal at Ryde Thai. The property inside is beautiful. Yes good things come in small packages. Furnished to a very high standard, very expensive fittings. Beautifully thought out and put together. The bottom bunk doubles as a comfortable seating area in the day, the table is perfect for breakfast for 3 of us. The top bunk is 'very' high but our 11 year old soon got used to his den! I cannot fault this place. It's been perfect for us, comfortable, quiet and even has a little courtyard. The skate park within 5 minutes walk on Ryde front was a well visited place by us for our skateboard mad son! There was even music on the green which we stumbled across one night. There is some renovation work going on on part of the esplanade at the moment but that did not bother us. We would definitely stay here again. We've absolutely loved it. Thank you for making our first visit to Isle of Wight so comfortable and welcoming Hamilton's Studio. Quite beautiful! Will we be back. ..most definitely!!!
They say good things come in little packages and this studio brings reality to that old adage. It is superbly fitted and furnished and provides all the equipment you'll need in the small but magnificent kitchen. The shower room is no less classy, with a loo seat that can retail at £350 - yes, 350, I looked it up! Quiet at night and perfectly placed next to Ryde town centre (not Nettlestone as it says on Tripadviser), this is a great place for a short break. And my dog loved it too. Lovingly restored, this is a wonderful, historic building comfortable, convenient and a pleasure to stay in.
