A cosy, detached cottage nestled within the grounds of the owners' guest house on the outskirts of Jedburgh in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Originally the stable block, this cottage has been thoughtfully converted to provide comfortable accommodation for a couple wishing to explore this popular part of Scotland. The ground floor of the spacious interior features contemporary open-plan living accommodation with a kitchen, dining area and comfortable sitting area, along with French doors opening out onto a lovely courtyard. Here, you can sit out at the table with a glass of wine or a chilled beer and enjoy the open outlook across the hills. Resting within the owners' grounds with flourishing gardens for the guest house adjacent are a pleasant place to unwind. A short walk down the hill brings you into the pleasant town of Jedburgh. Only ten miles from the English border and famed for its abbey and its substantial ruins which dominate the town, Jedburgh is also home to Mary, Queen of Scots' house and Jedburgh Castle Jail, now a museum which you can explore at your own leisure. With Jed Water, a tributary of the Teviot, and circular walks easily accessed from your front door, there is something for everyone at this delightful cottage.

OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
