Reviews

Loved our week at the Farmhouse Cottage. Everything about the stay was lovely. The property is roomy, well-equipped and located in a part of Anglesey that was close to all the places we wanted to visit. The owners of the cottage were fantastic and very, very helpful. Although they live next to the cottage, we never felt pried on and everything was very relaxed. The property is located down a secluded lane but only a five minute drive to Pentraeth. Having two dogs, it's sometimes hard to find a nice cottage but no such worries here. We all slept really well, especially our four-month old daughter who loved the cot in the family bedroom. Overall, a fantastic holiday and we hope to return in the near future.

The cottage was ideally situated for the whole island. It was very well equipped and spacious - all rooms were good sizes. It was very handy having a downstairs bathroom. It was a very warm and cosy cottage, which all 6 of us enjoyed thoroughly. The owners were very pleasant and helpful.

The cottage itself was really good and very comfortable. It was warm with good heating and 1 en suite and a separate bathroom. We would definitely go back.

The house is in an ideal location on the island, central to most things. The children's park area was perfect for our three boys, they thoroughly enjoyed the climbing frame, swing and trampoline. The house itself was perfect, it felt very homely with lots of storage. We felt at home instantly. The house was well equipped with crockery and cutlery along with cooking utensils. The towels and bedding were of excellent quality. Overall, this was a perfect holiday house to stay in, we would recommend it to anyone.

It was nice to have a comfortable, well-equipped base to come home to, in a quiet and peaceful location.

We've just returned from a week's stay, a couple, adult daughter with toddler, my elderly mother and our dog. It was chosen partly for the downstairs bedroom and bathroom, and was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable (I slept so well!), well equipped. I'd also liked the look of the play equipment, but as they are round the back of the other cottages it felt a bit intrusive going there - though there's so much to do within a short drive, even in poor weather, that the play equipment was never required! As others have said, a gift of eggs, milk, tea and coffee when you arrive is a lovely start to the holiday. One minor point with the directions - it mentions a right turn after 2.7 miles that's signposted - the distance is spot on, but no signpost. Other than that, very easy to find.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The owner is there if you need anything but keeps in the background. The location of the property is perfect for all the lovely beaches on the island, far enough away from the road to be peaceful but near enough for a quick link to the main roads. Hopefully we will be able to use this property again next year.

A spacious well-planned cottage in a quiet rural location, accessed by it's own private & quiet track. Excellent for young children & dogs with a nicely equipped play area. It had a very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher & washing-machine/dryer, sensible furniture in all rooms and very pleasant bedrooms & shower-room upstairs.

I wasn't too sure about the location as it wasn't that close to the beach, I couldn't have been more wrong, the location was perfect. We both love the east coast but it wasn't that far a journey & in early evening we were close enough to give the dogs a run on the beach at Benlech. Perfect location.

Anglesey is a fantastic island and this cottage was in a good situation to access all places. The cottage itself was amply spaced for 5 adults & 2 children. It was a safe environment for the children - a scenic (vista of snow covered mountains) - a very quiet area. There are some good walks - lots of footpaths - from the cottage. Red Wharf Bay was a good one - through fields and a forest, then the beach, about 2.5 miles. The bedrooms were comfy and spacious and the kitchen and lounge were ample enough to accommodate all easily. I would go again.

I arranged this trip for my 30th birthday for myself and 6 friends. The cottage was great value and well worth the money for the time of year we went. The cottage was modern yet homely and cozy and the surroundings were amazing. We woke up to a white blanket of snow all around. The living room was a little small but the kitchen was big enough with a huge table to sit around and enjoy food and drinks. The main bathroom was huge, clean and modern. The bedrooms were also very clean and perfect for what we needed. one bedroom had an on suite bathroom which was modern and very clean. When we arrived there was fresh milk in the fridge and tea and coffee there for our arrival. Over all the visit was very enjoyable and i would recommend it to my friends and family.

The property was very clean, homely and comfortable and had all the charm of a country cottage while having convenient appliances including power shower, dishwasher and a full heating system. When we arrived at the cottage the heating had been put on so it was very warm and cosy. I would recommend this property to my friends and family and I am almost certain that I will be visiting again.

Friendly owners, property very clean and everything worked. Ideal layout of ground floor as we had 2 dogs with us. Being October we were glad central heating was in excellent order.

This was a lively property, very spacious, would definately stay again. The only thing we did not like was the dirt track upto the cottage it was very bumpy.

A broad variety of things to do in the area for all ages. The cottage was in a very peaceful spot and the owners made us feel welcome.

Great pet friendly holiday cottage. Plenty of room, well equiped kitchen, large bedrooms. Free gift of milk and eggs from the owners. Very rural, off road location yet close to Beaumarris, Bangor, Snowdonia and beautiful beaches.

The Cottage was just what we were looking for. Ideal for the dogs and off the beaten track but near to everything. The free eggs and milk were a great bonus.
