2 Black Horse Cottages, Pentraeth

Just got back from one week at this fabulous little cottage. (2 adults, 2 10 year old children and two dogs). This cottage is the middle cottage in a row of 3 identical ones. Main living area/kitchen/dining table all in the central room which has a front door and sliding doors onto a lovely decked area out back. There's a bedroom each side of the living room, one twin bedded with ensuite bathroom and the other a double with ensuite shower room. Great size for family of four. Loads of wardrobe space and drawers. Double glazed and central heating. Great owner Mr Parry, lives in the farm house nearby. It's a great Base for exploring Anglesey. It's warm and comfortable with great views and so so quiet at night. It's so dark at night with no unnatural light spoiling your view of the night sky and the thousands of stars above and the milky way right above visible with the naked eye...... breathtaking! Would definitely take a telescope to see more. The cottage is so well equipped with a great cooker and a washer dryer. Only a small fridge but managed. Great secure garden for the kids with a trampoline, swings, slide and a seesaw which were all well used as for October the weather was great. Dogs bit allowed in the garden but no trouble putting the lead in and popping down the lane for toilet needs (pick up after pooch please! We did ALWAYS everywhere but others didn't!!!!). Can't range enough about this cottage. Loads of parking in its courtyard at the front. It's everything you could want and feels really homely and had been refurbished to a very high standard, hard to believe all three cottages were once a large pig stye housing 800 pigs! You won't be disappointed!

The property was very clean and like a home from home, and the owners were lovely. We had a lovely time and it made for a great base for us to visit everywhere we like to go. It was lovely and peaceful and I will definitely recommend to anyone and will book again.

The cottage was in an ideal location, very quiet and away from the "touristy" areas but so easy to drive to other areas and explore Anglesey. The cottage was an ideal "get-away-from-it-all", I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

The Cottage was perfect for us, as the bedrooms are either end with the living space in the centre. Perfect location for exploring Anglesey and North Wales as its not far from the bridge. The Cottage is perfect for taking the dogs as its off the main road. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

A lovely convenient location. The cottage was airy and attractive with lovely views, and the owner was helpful and friendly. Could not fault it at all.

A quiet location ideal for dogs. The property and grounds were excellent, and had helpful owners. Anglesey cannot be beaten for beaches and places to visit, that's why we've been going for over 30 years. Thank you.

It was a beautiful cottage - very clean and well looked after.

Stayed here with my family including 2 dogs for a week in May, the cottage was everything we had hoped for, traveling with a disabled family member the cottage owners could not do enough to ensure we were catered for. The cottage itself was spacious, airy and fully equipt with everything you could possibly need, also spotlessly clean. Freshly laid eggs on arrival were a lovely touch. The location was perfect, 5 minutes from Britannia bridge, but extremely rural feeling. Sitting watching rabbits, chickens, horses and lots of wildlife on the rear decking beautiful! I would highly recommend this property, for couples, families and anyone wanting a lovely quiet location.

Lovely cottage, very comfortable with everything you need. Ideal location for touring around anglesey. Owner very thoughtfully leaves supplies for your arrival, a lovely touch.

I booked this cottage because it was close to the hospital where I had to visit daily.Obviously my choice was , in part because I travel everywhere with dogs-who were welcome. The cottage was very clean-the sheets were ironed and reasonably well equipped. Minor 'snags' were very quickly dealt with by the owner, who incidentaly gave us a warm welcome and supplied lovely eggs tea and coffee etc. I have only one concern and that is the access road which is full of holes and not good for a low slung coupe-please address this and I will return

Perfect for families with little children. Terrace direction sunset, nice in the evening and play ground for kids in front. Very amicable host, fresh eggs from the farm.

Cannot wait to go back again!

We had a nice and quiet holiday, will be going back.

The cottage was well situated and comfortable. The owner was helpful, and we were warmly received. The eggs were delicious and we were provided with tea, coffee etc. We would return there.

A lovely, peaceful location yet not that far from all the attractions/sights of Anglesey. The owners provided a lot of welcoming extras - milk, eggs, tea and coffee, which were very much appreciated. A very relaxing holiday!

We've just spent 4 nights in cottage number 1 and we were extremely happy with it. The cottage was, cosy, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owners are friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. They supply tea, coffee, etc, but a real treat is the fresh free range eggs that are waiting for you. We would definitely book again !

The friendliness of the owners and the reception on arrival. We spent many hours walking our Westie on the first class beaches.

Enjoyed it very much, very clean and comfortable will definitely recommend it to friends. We liked the number of wild birds in the back garden, make sure you take your binoculars with you.

Comfortable cottage in a good location not far from Red Wharfe Bay which is dog friendly and lovely Barmouth. We enjoyed relaxing on the decking in the evening.

The owner was brilliant and vry helpful, the cottage was spotless and large, every thing in it you would need. Just like being at home. The location was great very close to many beaches but would need a car to get to them. The worst thing was the weather was awful but that was in the lap of the goods.

Peaceful location with good, clean accommodation and our dog loved it too!

Good location, near to Beaumaris but in a lovely, rural setting. My daughter spent hours on the swing & the decking was great for our dog.

The cottage was perfect for our requirements. We travelled with older parents, access was good and we appreciated the 2 bathrooms. The cottage description in your brochure was very accurate and we weren't disappointed.

We liked the easy access to walks and the clean and quiet setting of the house.
