Wadham Cottage in Bourton-On-The-Water is a beautiful cottage. Beds were amazing and beautiful bedding and towels, very luxurious. Very clean and comfortable and extremely well equipped. Our dog settled very well, considering he had never been away before. The town itself is very busy as it is a popular place to visit, so our greyhound found that a bit scary, but we found quieter walks which he loved. We visited the Safari Park and Birdpark which both you can take dogs. Ice cream shop right opposite the cottage was lush, so everyday had ice cream and even dogs welcome. Church is very close, and chimes, but found that nice. Ok for us but possibly would have issue if you very tall, as low ceilings, but I loved it and would love to be there again. Jane
Beautiful well maintained cottage in a great location. Dog friendly cottage which our dog enjoyed and also great for our 4 month old son. Towels and linen provided. You can hear the church clock which chimes periodically but it didn’t bother us and was fairly quiet in bedrooms. The dryer broke while we stayed and the owner and caretaker were very attentive and able to get a brand new replacement dryer installed the very next day which was very impressive. Bourton-on-water is a beautiful Place to visit and lots of country walks start from the village. We visited birdland park and walked to lower slaughter which are lovely. And the grey stone nature reserve and windrush river and wind rush way walk are lovely.
What a charming place to stay,we loved all the quirkiness of it and the shared patio and garden was a great place for socialising with the neighbours, excellent location being just about in the centre, only negative point would be no shower but that didn't spoil it one bit, will definitely be using it again.
