Please use the ones provided. **PLEASE NOTE THE OWNER IS HAVING A SMALL EXTENSION TO THE KITCHEN FROM THE 16TH SEPTEMBER 23 FOR 12-16 WEEKS, IT'S AT THE BACK OF THE OWNERS HOUSE, SO SHOULDN'T IMPACT YOUR STAY, BUT PLEASE GET IN TOUCH IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BOOKING.
Location Details
Christian Malford, Wiltshire is a short drive away from Malmesbury which dates back to the Iron Age and is reputedly the oldest borough in England. Malmesbury is steeped in history and offers visitors over 400 listed buildings, a 15th century Market Cross, a ruined 7th century Benedictine abbey, an annual carnival and many independent shops, cafes and traditional pubs. The area offers many country houses, including Rodmarton Manor and Gardens, and Chavenage House, a fine example of a Cotswold manor unchanged for 400 years. Just a short drive away is The Cotswold Water Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, covering 40 square miles and offering a wide range of activities, including boating, water-skiing, fishing, cycling, golf and horse riding.
Wiltshire is a county offering cultural richness, historical sites, friendly people and attractions for all the family. A holiday in Wiltshire really does have something to suit everyone at any time of year.

Comedy cottage is as it was described. It met all our expectations from the description. It was spotlessly clean. Jo (owner) was responsive to our needs, respectful and kept strict social distancing when interacting face to face. Antibacterial spray and hand gel provided. Kitchen was well resourced, large floor space but be careful not to bang your head on the beams. Bed and pillows very comfortable, a rare find. The outside space is tranquil. This cottage is in an excellent location to get places. We visited Stonehenge, Avebury, West Kennet long barrow, Bradford on Avon, Cirencester, Bath and Westonbrit arboretum. Not forgetting Malmesbury (where there's a Waitrose).
We spent a fabulous week at the Comedy Cottage and can’t wait to go back! We had an 11, 5 and a 1 year old with us and the cottage was perfect! Jo had kindly arranged a cot and high chair for us and nothing was too much trouble. The kids loved seeing their ponies and chickens too. A very friendly and cosy stay in a beautiful part of the world. We will be back!
