A lake is adjacent to the property and guests are welcome to walk by it and guests are welcome to explore it from The Old Mill.

After much careful planning and hard work from the owners, The Old Mill is a fabulously spacious home in which to spend some quality time. Inside you'll be bowled over by the charming architectural features such as the exposed timbers and brickwork of the vast, open plan kitchen/dining area (and living space in a gallery above) where guests can comfortably gather to enjoy a meal or just to relax. No expense has been spared in the use of high quality, natural building materials adding to the luxurious feel. After a busy day, you might like to take a seat on the glass-fronted balcony overlooking the courtyard and grassed areas, a tranquil place to wind down or even find a quiet spot overlooking the owners' lake. The lake is adjacent to the property and guests are welcome to walk by it. All in all, prepare for any expectations you have before you come to be exceeded!
Flaxley is a tiny hamlet close to the Forest of Dean, with local shops, pubs and restaurants, Newnham On Severn is only four miles away. From there you’ll find excellent views of the river and immediate access across the fields to the Severn Way footpath.

Shop 2 miles, pub 0.5 miles, Gastro pub 1 mile. Note: Please contact the office in regards to further information on fly fishing. Note: For larger parties, The Old Mill is can be rented alongside The Old Dairy (adjacent at right angles) making accommodation for up to ten guests.
