Mallard provided the perfect peaceful hideaway for my 40th birthday, after Covid cancelled any plans. The lodge is exceptionally well appointed for a comfortable self-catered stay, with the added bonus of a private hot tub (we went in, even through it was hailing!). Would highly recommend this property to nature lovers, as you can sit & watch bunnies, birds, sheep etc to your heart's content. Also fishing. Weather was atrocious but the lodge is warm & cosy. Out with the pandemic, it would be within reach of various tourist attractions & even a pub. Well done Mark for keeping the tub so spotless!
