The house has been styled with a contemporary design, making this a charming family retreat or even a romantic getaway for two. As you step into the cottage, you are welcomed into an open-plan living/kitchen/dining room, posing a seamless blend of traditional and contemporary. The luxury kitchen poses a stylish design and all the necessities you will need to rustle up a candlelit dinner. As you walk through the room, you are welcomed to the warming woodburning fire with a cosy sofa, perfect for snuggling up during a winter’s evening. As you follow the carpeted stairs up to the second floor, characterful features are reflected to highlight the history of the property. The master bedroom poses a charming stone wall, with a stylish interior design and king-size bed. Across the landing, you will find the second bedroom, complete with a day bed. The family bathroom oozes understated luxury, with a unique towel rail, shower over bath, basin and WC. Outside the property, you will have access to an enclosed garden and patio area, featuring garden furniture. Gargrave village can be found within a 7-minute walk, where the local pub and shop can be located within a 10-minute walk from the cottage. Situated just 3 miles from the cottage is Coniston Lake, a great location for a countryside walk. The property is ideally situated in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?
We have been staying at this little gem for 3 weeks and would stay longer if it was available! The owners Nicola and Kevin are close at hand, if needed, but are unobtrusive . The accommodation is very clean and modern. The log burner keeps it warm and cosy, in the evenings. Thanks to Kevin for keeping us well supplied with logs and kindling! The Greenhouse is ideally situated for walkers, cyclists or people just wanting to chill and explore this beautiful area of the Dales. The lovely towns of Skipton, Ilkley, Otley and Harrogate are within easy access and Bradford and Leeds are accessible by a regular train service from Skipton. We have also visited Malham with the stunning Janet's Fosse Waterfall and breathtaking Goredale Scar. And there is so much more in this amazing area. Walking along the canal path we have been very lucky to see Otters, Kingfishers, Herons. We have also seen Buzzards and a Barn Owl.

The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
